Menorca is easily explored by car especially as outside Mao [ Mahon ] and Ciutadella there is very little traffic. With the aid of a good map, freely available from the airport information kiosk you can find all the hideaway places where the Menorcan people themselves go to escape the crowds, including dozens of lovely untouched beaches and gorgeous countryside.
